Brewer earns second consecutive U-17 World Cup selection as the United States heads to Morocco
DALLAS (September 24, 2026) – Dallas Trinity FC defender Meila Brewer has been selected to the final roster for the U.S. Under-17 Women’s National Team that will compete at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026.
The team, led by head coach Ciara Crinion, will also face Kenya on Oct. 22 and China on Oct. 25. Matches will be played in Casablanca and Rabat, Morocco. She will return to play for Dallas Trinity FC after the World Cup matches have concluded.
This marks Brewer’s second consecutive selection for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. In 2025, she started all four matches for the United States and scored once as the team won its group and advanced to the Round of 16.

A longtime member of the U.S. Youth National Team system, Brewer has represented the United States at the U-15, U-16 and U-17 levels. She helped lead the U.S. to the 2024 Concacaf U-15 Championship and was the second-youngest player on the U.S. U-17 squad that won the 4 Nations Tournament in 2025.
