HISTORY OF THE COTTON BOWL

In 1994, the Cotton Bowl Stadium played a pivotal role in the FIFA World Cup hosted by the United States. It hosted six matches during the tournament, including a round of 16 match and a quarter-final. This exposure to international soccer further cemented the stadium’s reputation as a venue for soccer events.

Over the years, the Cotton Bowl has continued to host soccer matches, including international friendlies, CONCACAF Gold Cup matches, and other tournaments. Its central location within the United States and its sizable capacity make it an attractive venue for soccer events of various scales, and the perfect home for Dallas Trinity FC.
