HISTORY OF THE COTTON BOWL

In 1994, the Cotton Bowl Stadium played a pivotal role in the FIFA World Cup hosted by the United States. It hosted six matches during the tournament, including a round of 16 match and a quarter-final. This exposure to international soccer further cemented the stadium’s reputation as a venue for soccer events.
