DALLAS TRINITY FC UNIFIED TEAM
Dallas Trinity FC is proud to introduce our first-ever Unified Team, built in partnership with Special Olympics Texas. This is a squad of women with and without intellectual disabilities who train together, compete together, and wear the Trinity crest together
It’s also a first for the USL Super League. Our Unified Team will be the first in the league and one of the few all-women Unified Teams connected to a professional club. Pro women’s soccer is home in Dallas, and this team is proof that our home has room for everyone.

WHAT IS A UNIFIED TEAM?
Special Olympics Unified Sports brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to train, compete, and win side by side. Everyone plays better, and everyone belongs, together.
Special Olympics adopted Unified Programs in 1989 to expand sports opportunities for athletes seeking new challenges while increasing their inclusion in the community. Today, the initiative covers nearly every Special Olympics Texas sport, and Unified competition is an important part of the Special Olympics World Games as well as local, state, and National Games.
WHO CAN TRYOUT?
Tryouts are open to women ages 16 and up.
Unified Athletes: Women with intellectual disabilities.
Unified Partners: Women without intellectual disabilities who want to play alongside them. All Unified Partners must pass a background check.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Unified Team will train as a club, represent Trinity at community events, and compete against other Unified Teams. Players will be evaluated on teamwork, sportsmanship, commitment, and soccer ability, with a strong emphasis on respect and inclusion.
