Jamie Shepherd (22) – Midfield
Career Bio
Dallas Trinity FC bolsters its midfield with the loan signing of Jamie Shepherd, a BYU program-record holder joining from NWSL side Bay FC in search of consistent playing time.
An American Fork, Utah native, Shepherd was a dual-sport standout in high school, winning state championships in both soccer and basketball in the same year, before starring at BYU for five seasons. She started every single game of her college career, finishing as the program’s all-time leader in appearances with 108, and helped lead the Cougars to two College Cup appearances, including a run to the national championship final in 2021.
Selected by Bay FC in the third round of the 2024 NWSL Draft, Shepherd was part of the club’s first-ever professional roster. She’s since fought for every opportunity, re-earning her contract after it was initially declined and later signing a two-year extension, but has found limited minutes behind Bay FC’s deep midfield.
Now arriving on loan through the end of the year, Shepherd brings her leadership and championship experience to Dallas Trinity FC as the club continues its push in the Gainbridge Super League.
