Felicia Knox (6) – Midfielder
Career Bio
Dallas Trinity FC adds proven playmaking to its midfield with the signing of Felicia Knox, a set-piece specialist and one of the most experienced players in the Gainbridge Super League.
A Kansas City native, Knox starred at the University of Alabama, where she became the only player in program history to win SEC Midfielder of the Year. Her 2022 season was a defining one — she led the entire country in assists with 20, all while playing through a hamstring injury that never once forced her out of the lineup. She left Alabama as the program’s all-time leader in career assists, single-season assists, and assists per game, earning Third-Team All-American honors along the way.
After being drafted by Angel City FC in 2024, Knox turned professional setbacks into opportunity, becoming the first player ever signed by Fort Lauderdale United FC and helping lead the club to the USL Super League Championship Final in its inaugural season. She later joined Spokane Zephyr FC, tallying 4 goals in 24 appearances. Remarkably, both of her previous clubs folded within the same calendar year — a testament to her resilience each time she’s rebuilt.
Now Knox brings her creativity, leadership, and dead-ball danger to Dallas Trinity FC, reuniting with former Fort Lauderdale teammate Wayny Balata as the club continues its push in the Gainbridge Super League.
