Dallas battles through physical contest but falls on the road to Lexington SC
LEXINGTON (September 25, 2026) – Dallas Trinity FC (3-3-1, 10 points) fell to Lexington SC (3-2-0, 9 points), 3-0, on Friday evening at Lexington Stadium.
Dallas created multiple scoring opportunities throughout the first half in an active, physical 45 minutes that saw chances at both ends of the field. Both teams battled relentlessly and rattled the woodwork, keeping the pressure high from start to finish. Despite the end-to-end action and dangerous chances, neither side could find the breakthrough as the match remained scoreless at halftime.
Coming out of the locker room, Lexington broke the deadlock in the 56th minute when midfielder Addie McCain found the back of the net to give the home side a 1-0 lead. Lexington doubled its advantage in the 69th minute when forward Catherine Barry, last season’s Golden Boot winner, scored to make it 2-0. Barry would add another in the 80th minute after earning a penalty kick, completing her brace and extending Lexington’s lead to 3-0.
Despite the 3-0 result, Dallas Trinity FC continued to battle until the final whistle, creating opportunities and refusing to back down. Dallas remains in fourth place in the Gainbridge Super League table and will look to regroup as it continues its four-game road trip.

Dallas lucha en un partido físico, pero cae como visitante ante Lexington SC
LEXINGTON (25 de septiembre de 2026) – Dallas Trinity FC (3-3-1, 10 puntos) cayó 3-0 ante Lexington SC (3-2-0, 9 puntos) el viernes por la noche en Lexington Stadium.
Dallas generó múltiples oportunidades de gol durante el primer tiempo, en 45 minutos intensos y físicos que vieron ocasiones en ambos extremos de la cancha.
