Before Dallas Trinity FC: Samantha Estrada is beginning her professional career, after playing six seasons with Southern Methodist University. During her time at SMU, she totaled 175 career saves, ranking 10th in all-time program history and sixth all-time in save percentage (0.785) She was named to the AAC Preseason Watchlist, the AAC Honor Roll and was named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week twice. She was the team captain for the Mustangs.
