Career Overview
Lauren Lapomarda is a defender from Prosper, Texas, who joins the club after an outstanding collegiate career at University of Texas, followed by a professional stint in Italy with Parma Calcio Femminile.
A standout at Texas from 2020–2024, Lauren set the program record for all-time appearances (102 games, over 8,000 minutes), and helped lead multiple historic defensive runs — including a jaw-dropping 597-minute shutout streak. Academics-wise, she was a three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree and a United Soccer Coaches All-Region selection in 2024. On the pitch, Lauren’s speed, soccer IQ, and attack-minded fullback play made her a consistent contributor — with 4 goals and 10 assists during her Longhorn tenure.
