Final Preseason Tune-Up Offers Local Storylines Ahead of 2026 Fall Season
DALLAS (August 8, 2026) – Dallas Trinity FC will conclude its preseason schedule with an open scrimmage against defending Big 12 champion TCU on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium in Fort Worth. The scrimmage is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CT and is free and open to the public.
The preseason contest will provide Dallas Trinity FC with its final competitive test before the club opens the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season on Saturday, Aug. 15. Dallas enters the weekend following a 2-0 victory over reigning WPSL champion Kansas City Current II and a 1-0 win over SMU in its first two preseason outings.
Saturday’s scrimmage will also feature several connections between the two programs. Dallas Trinity FC players and TCU alumnae Seven Castain and Camryn Lancaster will be recognized before the scrimmage with a short video celebrating their collegiate careers with the Horned Frogs. TCU’s Kamdyn Fuller previously competed as an Academy Player with Dallas Trinity FC.
TCU has established itself as one of the nation’s leading women’s soccer programs under head coach Eric Bell. Since his arrival in 2012, the Horned Frogs have made nine NCAA Tournament appearances and won four Big 12 regular-season championships, including each of the past two seasons.
This will be the first preseason meeting between Dallas Trinity FC and TCU.

Saturday’s event is a preseason scrimmage rather than an official match. Dallas Trinity FC players will compete in unnumbered training gear, and an official match roster will not be distributed as the club continues to finalize its fall roster.
Media should be aware that some participating players have not yet been publicly announced and may not be identified in coverage. Club representatives will assist with identifying publicly announced players when possible. Photography and video of the scrimmage are permitted.

Dallas Trinity FC will open the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season and its home schedule against Tampa Bay Sun FC on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 7:30 p.m. CT at the Cotton Bowl. Fans in attendance will receive a complimentary commemorative poster, and the evening will conclude with post-match fireworks. The match will air locally on KFAA (Ch. 29) and will stream on WFAA+ and Peacock, with Spanish-language audio coverage available on TUDN Radio.
