Big Ten champion joins Dallas following a National Team Replacement Player stint with Utah Royals FC
DALLAS (August 5, 2026) –Dallas Trinity FC announced today it has signed Kalea Eichenberger to a contract ahead of the upcoming season in the Gainbridge Super League, a USL property. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Eichenberger joins Dallas after earning her first professional contract with Utah Royals FC as a National Team Replacement Player in March 2026. The 6-foot forward made her NWSL debut in the Royals’ season opener against Kansas City Current.
“Kalea has the physical profile, mentality and technical quality to become an impactful professional forward,” said Brian Corcoran, Sporting Director for Dallas Trinity FC. “She delivered in the biggest moments of Washington’s postseason run and has already shown she can earn opportunities in an NWSL environment.”
“Kalea gives us size, mobility and a dangerous left foot in the final third,” said Lee Nguyễn, First Team Manager and Technical Director for Dallas Trinity FC. “She can stretch a back line, compete in the box and create chances for herself, which gives us another distinct attacking option.”
A transfer from Cal State Bakersfield, Eichenberger made 56 appearances over three seasons at Washington. She helped the Huskies win the 2025 Big Ten Tournament, scoring in the championship match, and added another goal in Washington’s NCAA Tournament victory over Virginia as the program advanced to the Elite Eight.

Eichenberger llega a Dallas después de obtener su primer contrato profesional con Utah Royals FC como jugadora de reemplazo por convocatoria a selecciones nacionales en marzo de 2026. La delantera de 6 pies debutó en la NWSL durante el partido inaugural de la temporada de Royals ante Kansas City Current.
