Two-time First-Team All-SEC selection and Alabama’s all-time assists record holder joins Dallas Trinity FC ahead of the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season
DALLAS (August 5, 2026) – Dallas Trinity FC today announced the signing of midfielder Felicia Knox ahead of the club’s 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season. Knox arrives in Dallas as a free agent following the folding of Spokane Zephyr FC and brings two full professional seasons of Gainbridge Super League experience to the roster.

Knox, 24, is one of the most decorated midfielders in Southeastern Conference history. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, she played four seasons at the University of Alabama, where she set the program’s all-time career assists record (31), the single-season assists record (20 in 2022), and the single-season assists per game record — becoming the only player in Alabama program history ever named SEC Midfielder of the Year and the first Crimson Tide midfielder to earn All-American honors. Her 2022 junior season stands as one of the most statistically dominant individual seasons in recent college soccer history — she led the entire country in assists with 20, helped Alabama reach the College Cup semifinals for the first time in program history, and did all of it while playing through a hamstring injury that never took her off the field.
Knox enters Dallas Trinity FC as one of the most experienced active players in the Gainbridge Super League. She was the first player ever signed by Fort Lauderdale United FC ahead of the league’s inaugural 2024–25 season, making her professional debut in the club’s very first match — starting and assisting the equalizer in a 1-1 draw with Spokane Zephyr FC. She went on to help Fort Lauderdale reach the USL Super League Championship Final that season before joining Spokane Zephyr FC in September 2025, where she scored four goals in 24 appearances. Knox reunites at Dallas Trinity FC with former Fort Lauderdale United teammate and midfielder Wayny Balata.
Knox was selected by Angel City FC in the third round of the 2024 NWSL Draft — the fifth Alabama player in program history to be drafted to the National Women’s Soccer League. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Hospitality Management.
