Record-setting international showcase returns to the Cotton Bowl on Oct. 17
DALLAS (Sept. 10, 2026) — Dallas Trinity FC today announced that it will host Chivas Femenil, the most popular and beloved team in Mexico’s women’s league, for the second annual State Fair Clásico on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 4 p.m. at Cotton Bowl Stadium. The international friendly will not count toward either club’s league record and each match ticket will include same-day admission to the State Fair of Texas.
The match will take place on the final Saturday of the 2026 State Fair of Texas, which runs Sept. 25 through Oct. 18 at Fair Park. Complete event, ticketing and parking information will be published at DallasTrinityFC.com/State-Fair-Clasico.
The State Fair Clásico returns after 22,838 fans attended the inaugural match in 2025, establishing a record for the largest crowd at a professional women’s sporting event in Texas. Dallas Trinity FC will look to raise the bar again by playing against one of Mexico’s most recognized teams with millions of fans across the United States.

Based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Chivas Femenil has won two league championships in the Apertura 2017, Clausura 2022, and 2022 Campeón de Campeones. The team is part of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, one of the most popular and iconic clubs in Mexican soccer known for its tradition of fielding only Mexican national players.

El espectáculo internacional que estableció un récord regresa al Cotton Bowl el 17 de octubre
DALLAS (10 de septiembre de 2026) – Dallas Trinity FC anunció hoy que recibirá a Chivas Femenil, el equipo más popular y querido de la liga femenil de México, en la segunda edición anual del State Fair Clásico el sábado 17 de octubre a las 4 p. m. en Cotton Bowl Stadium. El amistoso internacional no contará para la clasificación de ninguno de los dos clubes y cada boleto para el partido incluirá la entrada a la Feria Estatal de Texas ese mismo día.
