Career Bio: Gabriela Guillen started her career at Creighton, where she played in 60 games as a fullback and recorded one goal and six assists. After graduation, she returned to Costa Rica, to play with Saprissa FF. After six seasons with the club, she spent one year in Iceland with Þór/KA, before returning to Costa Rica to represent Alajuelense FF in the top division in the country. Throughout this time, Gabriela has represented her country 87 times, including at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
International Performance: Gabriela has made 87 appearances for Costa Rica’s first team including CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, a silver medal in the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games, and the 2015 and 2023 FIFA World Cup. She also played for the Costa Rican U20 team in the 2010 U20 Women’s World Cup.
