Deborah Abiodun is a Nigerian midfielder who began her professional career with Rivers Angels FC in the Nigeria Women’s Football League before moving to the United States for college. She played two seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, making a significant impact in her sophomore year. In January 2025, she signed with the Washington Spirit, beginning her professional journey in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). She is currently on loan with DTFC.
International Performance:
Deborah has gained valuable international experience with the Nigerian National Team, featuring in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup before earning a spot on the squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She also contributed to Nigeria’s successful qualification for the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she competed in the tournament.
