High School Career:
Atty, a native of Irving, Texas, attended Lewisville High School in Irving, Texas, made the final roster for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup played in France, played under Pitt associate head coach Ben Waldrum for the US Developmental Academy (U19) in 2017-18, and in her junior year of high school, was called up to the U20 Mexico National Team where they played in the Lakeside Cup International Women’s Youth Tournament in China. As a sophomore, Atty was named captain, where she was second on the team in scoring.
Palomo most recently played for Liga MX Femenil side Tigres UANL from 2023-24, where she logged three appearances. The Irving product played collegiately at the University of Pittsburgh from 2019-23. Primarily at left back, Palomo started in all 73 of her appearances for the Panthers. She totaled more than 5,900 minutes on the pitch for Pitt, anchoring the defense all four years of her collegiate career. She earned All-ACC Academic Team honors three times, and scored two goals and recorded six assists in college. Internationally, she represents Mexico, having participated in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in France with the Mexican national team.
Collegiate Career:
Atty showcased her soccer talents at the University of Pittsburgh from 2019 to 2023. During her tenure with the Panthers, she was a consistent starter, demonstrating remarkable durability and skill.
Her academic dedication was equally impressive, earning her a place on the All-ACC Academic Team three times and the ACC Academic Honor Roll three times.
Professional Experience:
After graduating in 2023, Atty signed her first professional contract with Tigres UANL Femenil in Mexico’s Liga MX Femenil. Her time with Tigres further honed her defensive skills and provided valuable international experience.
